    Introduction

Oh, LEE clothes, Vibe trousers and Gucci Glasses!! We as teenagers are we often are unable to look past appearances. We fall into peer pressure and ridicule those who walk down the hall with mismatched socks or those who wear patterned clothing. Not only people, we judge restaurants, films and even products by their covers. And as a result, we end up skipping great meals, not getting to know terrific people and missing all sorts of terrific opportunities. Our society too, constantly fall prey to racism, ethnicity, religion, and caste. We still hear news that audience comment on cricket players on basis of colour.
    It is rightly said
    ,”Appearances can be deceptive”

Why people judge by outside looks?

Our society is the supporting pillar to promote this mythic .Demand for fair girls for marriage, priority to better looking people for jobs are all evidence of proof. The marketers and advertisers who want to sell their fairness cream, their pimple creams, designer clothes and accessories are also the major contributors to promote looks. Packaging and promotion are the major marketing tools .Politicians add icing to the cake by constantly distinguishing citizens on based on colour, race, caste and religion.

    Beauty lies deep Within

Everyone should take a brief moment to see the shining wit or loving personality in a person instead of his or her body. There are many truly great and natural differences among people. Their talents, skills, and capacities are not the same. Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi are such examples .Who would have imagined such lean and thin man will one day drive the Britishers out of this country. Within the most unattractive people can lay the most caring hearts. Our inability to individualize people is a weakness that we must not dismiss. Next time, think about what is in a hairstyle, or what is in make-up. Sadly, they both have too much significance in our superficial expectations. Our Creator has created each of us unique with gifts of body and mind. We should understand ,” true beauty lies within”. As soon as we realize this in our heart, everyone may be better known, better loved

Impact of judging by outside looks

I think the world would be a better place if everyone treated others equally. Maybe we would have fewer wars or problems with other countries because maybe people would communicate better. If kids didn’t judge other kids on how they look, certain kids wouldn’t get picked on or teased. The kids who are different would not feel bad about themselves or about their differences.

    Conclusion

    Sir Oscar has rightly said
” Men in general judge more from appearances than from reality. All men have eyes, but few have the gift of penetration”
We have a long way to go to live up to this English proverb. As a society we are improving the way we deal with others who are different from us. Everyone has to do their fair share to make the world a better place.
